Samantha is an Associate in the Orlando office, where she brings nearly seven years of courtroom experience to her clients’ disputes. She spent the first six years of her career in criminal defense, serving two years as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, two years in private practice, and two more years back at the Public Defender’s Office, where she regularly tried cases before judges and juries. That work taught her to build creative arguments, focus on the details that matter most, and shape the facts of a case into the strongest possible position for her client.
Samantha later moved into civil litigation, representing policyholders in property insurance disputes, including roof and property damage claims denied by insurers. Because she has litigated both civil and criminal matters, and has worked to prove cases as well as defend them, she understands how disputes unfold from each side of the courtroom. She is excited to be back in the courtroom advocating for her clients.
Samantha earned both her undergraduate and law degrees from Florida State University. During law school, she was a member of the Student Bar Association and served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the FSU College of Law. She also gained hands-on experience through internships and externships with the Federal Public Defender’s Capital Habeas Unit, the Office of the Public Defender for the Second and Ninth Judicial Circuits, and the Homicide Unit of the Office of the State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.
Samantha has been active in the local legal community, serving on the board of the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers as Philanthropy Chair from 2024 to 2025. An Orlando native, she lives in Central Florida with her husband, also a Central Florida native, and their young son.
